The team developed a concept for a rugged, modular, vehicle-mounted Counter-Radiation Electronic Warfare (CREW) system to emit RF energy in a specific sequence across specific frequencies. Challenges included aggressive thermal and environmental performance requirements, effective airflow management, and modularity for mounting in a variety of vehicles.
